How well does it work?

It would be nice to hear from those here that have used it before. Is it quality? Is it worth the money? Is it like watching a game on the tube?

It is certainly better than nothing, but it is nothing like watching on TV. The feed is exactly what is on the scoreboard which means replays of every Shocker score, no matter how routine. Often, that means not seeing any of the next defensive possession. Quick steals and fast break baskets will be missed. Many important possessions you will get to see an animated WuShock or the noise meter instead of game action.

It would be great if they could feed live action while they are doing all the other things on the scoreboard, but apparently that is asking too much.

Nevertheless, it is the best thing available when you cannot make it to the game.

I have received it the last two years here in KC, and it works pretty well. However, be prepared to miss some of the game. Whatever is shown on the video board in the arena is what you are going to see. So, whenever the opponent shoots an air ball you will see a bunch of balloons on the screen, or, if we make a dunk, three pointer, etc..... you will see a replay of that, all while the action is going on. If I recall correctly, there are three cameras. One at midcourt and one under each basket. When you go into full screen mode the picture quality is not going to be what it is on tv, but not too bad. Anyway, I've been pleased with it and think it's a great idea and tool to bring the game to those of us who can't be there.

The games are also archived, so if you happen to miss a game, you can watch it at a later date. You'll get tired real quick of things like the animated WU, doing "De-Fense". The radio feed is broadcasted with the video feed, which is nice.

It's the best we (the out-of-towners) can get, so we can't slam it too hard.


It's absolutely worth the money, and you might as well purchase the season long package, or they can debit an account on a monthly basis.

I was wondering about the blackout...I'll be in Florida and this weekend and would have been pretty pissed if they blacked out the game for me.
